Meridian Zero Channel 84mm Brass Barometer

The Channel range of clocks and barometers is suitable for land and sea. Easy to install with three holes evenly spaced around the base.

The facsia opens on a hinge to reveal the mechanism so changing the battery is hassle free and when closed is held in place by the 'port hole' screw.

This barometer is made of solid unlacquered brass and bevelled glass.

Height setting: the barometer should be adjusted according to the altitude of their location which is a factor of variation. This can be done, for instance, by comparison with the town or local barometer. Set by turning the screw at the back , clockwise, until the blue pointer reaches the division corresponding to the one on the standard barometer.

Utilisation: Every evening, for instance, set the mobile index over the pointer. In the morning, if it has moved back, the weather will be bad. If the index moves back over the pointer, that means the weather will improve.
