Wessex Chemicals Hull white is a high quality cleaner designed for use on fibreglass surfaces for the removal of stains, discolouration and black marks.
Hull White contains an organic mixture of polymer gelling agents, oxalic acid, surfactant and glycol based solvent mixtures for the cleaning of fibreglass hulls, it can be used on any fibreglass surface which has become discoloured through age and
weathering. It is effective at removing the brown/yellow staining on the waterlines of boats. As it is a gel, it stays where you apply it, even on vertical surfaces, meaning it can stay in contact with the surface for a longer period of time.
Hull white is a best applied by brush. The gel should be poured into a separate pot to avoid contamination of the remaining product.
For general cleaning apply a coat to the whole of the area you wish to treat. Leave in contact with the surface for at least 30
minutes before washing off with a hose, brush or pressure washer.
For heavy duty cleaning apply a light coat and follow up with a second coat 30 minutes later. Leave in contact with the surface for 60 minutes before rinsing off. Apply polish as usual.
